FUNDACIÓN REAL MADRID AGREEMENT
On Wednesday, 23rd of November, 2011 at 1 pm, the signing of the collective agreement will take place between Cruzada Por Los and La Fundación Real Madrid to implement social/athletic schools in Mozambique following the model set forth by La Fundación Real Madrid.
The agreement will be signed by The President and Founder of the NGO Crusade for the Children, María Díaz de la Cebosa, and the Executive Vice President of the Fundación Real Madrid, as well as ex-footballer and president of Escolinha do Tico, Manuel "Tico Tico" Bucuane, as well as Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations for Real Madrid Football Club as witnesses.
Ambassador Eduardo López Busquets, the Spanish Ambassador to Mozambique, and Ambassador Fernanda Moises Lichale, Mozambican Ambassador to Spain, and Deputy Minister of Athletics and Youth Affairs of the Government of Mozambique will also attend to support the event.
Furthermore, we expect numerous media outlets and more than 100 invited guests from both institutions.
DINNER AND BENEFIT CONCERT
Next 31st of May, at 21.00 hrs
, at Florida Park, Park of El Retiro, the dinner-party for our NGO Crusade for the Children, will take place to benefit the health, sporst and educational projects in Mozambique. On this occasion, as well as groups of friends and some students of the CIS, we will be lucky to have the presence of the famous Mozambican singer Mingas (I here attach a link to her website: ).
We will also do an auction with items donated by known people of the world of sports and of the world of art, a raffle, and an open-bar for an hour after dinner.
We already have the tickets on sale for 60 euros. The sale and collection of the tickets will be held at the CIS, 140 Calle Velázquez. You can also make the payment by a bank transfer to the La Caixa of Crusade for the Children a/c: 2100 - 0600 - 81 - 0202474265.
You have to come! We will have a great time and we will help children and youngsters to have access to studies that will let them have a better life.
CHARITY PARTY
Crusade for the Children
is organizing a charity event with the primary aim of raising funds for the projects carried out in Mozambique. This party has as second goal to have some fun with the students of the CIS as well as all those friends you wish to invite to take part of this solidarity party.
The party will be held on Thursday the 15th of April 2010 at 21.30hrs, in Pacha Madrid, Calle Barceló No. 11. It is important that you communicate it to as many friends as possible. Only if there are many of us, we will be able to reach our goal.
Tickets are 20€ (including one drink). We have 600 tickets to sell, so we expect all of you to come along with your friends, to sell as many tickets as possible.
We need your help to make this big.

CHARITY CONCERT

On the 2nd of June 2009, Crusade for the Children organized a charity concert which was attended voluntarily by The Others band, Jeff Spinoza (the Red House band) and Ramón Arroyo (member of Los Secretos). The dinner and charity auction took place after the concert. Besides the band The Others, María Díaz de la Cebosa also performed together with a group of students from the CIS. During the auction, among other things, were autioned: T-shirts signed by basketball player Pau Gasol, the Spanish football team, soccer player Raul González and members of la Quinta del Buitre, from Real Madrid, together with that of Fernando Alonso; a bull-fighter's cape signed by Enrique Ponce, a tennis racket signed by Rafael Nadal and a horse. At the end of the concert, CIS students handed a "solidarity album", with photos taken by students in Mozambique, to Mr. Antonio Revilla, from the band The Others. The concert was a great success. 400 people attended. |

CHARITY DINNER
On June 2008, Crusade for the Children together with the South Mozambique Foundation, organized a Charity Dinner to raise funds for the children of Casa do Gaiato, in Mozambique. After dinner, the artist "Mari Carmen and her dolls" voluntarily made a performance.

PHOTO EXHIBITIONS.
With the photographs taken during the trips to Mozambique, two photo exhibitions have already been made: One on November 2007 and the other on November 2008, both of them held in the facilities of the CIS - The College for International Studies, 140 Calle Velázquez, Madrid. Both events were organized to benefit the children of Casa do Gaiato, to raise funds to support the Sports, Children's Health and Education Programmes in several villages of southern Mozambique. "1st Photo Exhibition from the trip to Mozambique", taken by the students and staff of the CIS and Crusade for the Children on November 2007.


2007. CHARITY RAFFLE.
More than 100 kg of milk powder were bought thanks to what was raised from the raffle, and students from the CIS took them to Mozambique for the children of Casa do Gaiato on their first trip. With 1kg of milk, 5 children are fed for 10 days.
2005. CONFERENCE: THE REALITY OF IRAQI WOMEN
On Tuesday, 7th of June 2005, at 19.30 hrs, at the CIS headquarters- The College for International Studies, 140 Calle Velázquez- 28006 Madrid, took place an Iraq photo exhibition of the photographer and journalist Rosina Ynzenga. The war reporter Fran Sevilla gave a lecture on "The reality of women in Iraq". This event was organized to raise funds for the campaign against against female genital mutilation that Crusade for the Children is doing in Iraq.
2003. CHARITY CONCERT: TOUR OF HOPE
Collaboration with the Network of Schools and Medellin Bands that held a concert under the name: "Concert of Hope" on the 6th of April, 2003. Students are distributed in 20 schools of which 10 are devoted to instruments like the violin, viola, bow... etc.
1996. CONFERENCE: THE KEYS TO THE YUGOSLAVIAN CONFLICT.
With an aim to cooperate to find solutions to the Balkan crisis in 1996, Crusade for the Children organized a conference: "The keys to the Yugoslavian conflict". This conference, held in Madrid, was attended by the Ambassador of Bosnia- Herzegovina, Muhamed Nezirovic, the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, José María Mendiluce, the president of Crusade for the Children, Benito Díaz y Díaz de la Cebosa, and vice-president, María Díaz de Cienfuegos- Jovellanos.
